2. Website delivery and hosting
This website is delivered via Cloudflare Pages, including a Pages Function for the contact form. The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When the website is accessed or the form is used, Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data. This may include the IP address, date and time of the request, requested URL, referrer URL, browser and operating-system information, and the HTTP status code.
This processing is necessary to deliver the website and ensure its stability and security. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of our website.
Cloudflare processes this data on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions. Where data is processed outside the European Economic Area, Cloudflare relies, among other safeguards, on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Further information is available in Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy and the Cloudflare Data Processing Addendum.
3. Cookies, tracking and external content
This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or tracking services. Neither Google Analytics nor Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled. No maps, videos, social-media feeds or similar third-party content are embedded. Fonts and images are served directly by this website.
For this reason, the website’s current functionality does not require a cookie-consent banner.
4. Contact and contact form
If you contact us through the form, by email or by phone, we process your information to review and respond to the enquiry and, where applicable, to take steps prior to entering into a contract. The form collects your name, company, email address, current Amazon situation and message, plus the optional fields phone number, Amazon model and requested support.
The form data is validated by a Cloudflare Pages Function and then sent through the email provider Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., USA) as an email to the responsible contact at FARU. The website does not maintain its own contact or form database. Resend processes sender and recipient addresses, message content and technical delivery data. To prevent spam, a hidden empty field and the time at which the form was opened are also evaluated. No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns a contract or its preparation; otherwise it is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interests are handling business enquiries and protecting the form from misuse. Without the fields marked as required, we cannot process an enquiry through the form. You may contact us by email or phone instead.
Resend processes data in the United States. Resend relies, among other safeguards, on its certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. The Resend Data Processing Addendum applies; further information is available in Resend’s Privacy Policy.
5. Recipients
Personal data is available only to those people within FARU who need it to handle your enquiry and to service providers used for hosting, email transmission, communications or IT operations where necessary. This includes Cloudflare and Resend for the contact form. We do not disclose personal data for advertising purposes.
6. Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as it is required for the relevant purpose or statutory retention obligations apply. Data from general enquiries is deleted once the enquiry has been fully dealt with and there is no legal or contractual reason to retain it.
7. Your rights
Subject to the applicable statutory requirements, you have rights of access (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18), data portability (Article 20), and objection to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (Article 21). You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.

8. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is, in particular, the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision, Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
9. Updates
We update this privacy policy when the website, the services used or legal requirements change. For legal interpretation, the German version prevails.
